After eight months on the job, AIGP Asan Kasingye is no longer the police spokesperson.
In a twitter message, minutes ago, Kasingye said he will be moving to the police commissariat to concentrate on his role as the chief political commissar of the Uganda Force.
His replacement as spoksesprson is yet to be announced.
“…I will be taking leave of spokesman function to concentrate on commissariat work,” Kasingye twitted one hour ago.
Kasingye replaced Andrew Felix Kaweesi who was gunned down in March this year.
He has been accessible and amiable fellow who fraternised closely with the media
