Am more than happy to be back at the Uganda cranes team Baba kizito says

Baba said: “I am ready for action because for all the time I have been away from the national team, I did not rest. I have been working hard to earn a re-call and I am ready to take the chance with open hands.”

At last, prayers made by the hundreds of Ugandans for the talented and splendid Vietnam based midfielder Geofrey Baba Kizito to be called up at Uganda cranes team were heard after the midfielder was among the 27 players that were summoned to  face Togo in the second round of the World Cup qualifiers.

Baba Kizito never expected this offer!

The following were the players that were summoned by Uganda cranes coach Micho

Goal Keepers: Denis Onyango, Salim Jamal, Robert Odongkara, James Alitho Defenders: Dennis Iguma, Dennis Okot, Geofrey Walusimbi, Joseph Ochaya, Isaac Muleme, Shafiki Bakaki, Isaac Isinde, Ivan Bukenya, Murushid Jjuuko Midfielders: Tonny Mawejje, Khalid Aucho, Geoffrey ‘Baba’ Kizito, Ivan Ntege, Yasser Mugerwa, Farouk Miya, William Luwaga Kizito, Muzamiru Mutyaba, Moses Oloya, Kezironi Kizito Strikers: Geoffrey Massa, Brian Umony, Hamis Kizza, Caesar Okhuti

“I have confidence in every player I have summoned. We are ready for the 2018 World Cup qualifiers against Togo” Micho says.

Uganda cranes team started its training on Thursday at Paradise Gym, located on Acacia Mall but it’s expected to depart from the country on Wednesday.
