Betty Nambooze Finally Cleared To Fly Abroad For Further Treatment

The woman member of parliament, Hon Betty Nambooze Bakireke will be finally taken for further treatment as Mulago referral hospital pronounces her free to go abroad, according to Monitor.

Since  13th June, Betty Nambooze has been under detention at Kiruddu hospital over alleged misuse of computer which she used to write comments she allegedly wrote on her social media page regarding the murder of Arua’s former member of parliament, Hon Ibrahim Abiriga.

Betty Nambooze needs to fly for treatment abroad and everything is done for her to travel, according to Mulago’s Executive Director, Dr. Byaruhanga Baterana.

It’s very true, Nambooze needs to be taken abroad for further check up, because her health condition is really bad. We have therefore prepared all the necessary papers so that she can be able to travel and all are with the parliament,” Dr. Baterana told reporters.

This morning, Betty Nambooze who appeared on NBS Tv Morning breeze managed to address the public about her health situation which required her to travel to India as soon as possible.
