Meet Chike, A 35 Year Old Who Wants To Contest For Nigerian Presidency

The 35 year old Nigerian Chike Ukaegbu announced that he will be among the candidates for Nigerian presidency. The youth between the age of 18 to 35 make the biggest percent over 60% in Nigeria, according to News24.

At just 35, Chike will become the youngest civilian president of the republic of Nigeria. Greatness is born of vision to see the invisible and make it a reality. Nigeria needs a leader with a vision now and in future.This is the right time for us to come out and lead and am the right choice to become a leader of our Nation,’’Chike said.

Chike who was born in Owerri, Imo State was just of recent named among the 100 most influential people of the black ethnicity under the age of 40. He’s a tech entrepreneur currently residing in New York City.

Chike Ukaegbu’s education background!

Before going for his further studies to the United States where he first studied biomedical engineering at the City College of New York, Chike studied his kindergarten, primary, secondary and finally went to Lagos University. While in US, he also joined Cornell University where he studied Executive leadership and management, later he applied to University of Pennsylvania for his MBA courses and also studied investments and Venture Capital at Stanford University.

He taught entrepreneurship for two years and math for 7 years at City College of New York.

He has the passion to help the youth!

Chike has been invited to speak at several prestigious conferences, summits and institutions such as the White House TEDx Tech and Venture Capital conferences, the US Nigerian Investment Summit, Havard, CCNY, Africa Trade Investment Global Summit, and many others.

Below 30 years , Chike had the desire and passion to empower the lives of the youth which made him to be one of the certified foster parents and he Co-Founded Re: Life Inc, the first non profit organization based in Harlem, which focuses on empowering the disconnected youth via technology, education and entrepreneurship.

Chike has managed launch Startup52, a New York City’s first award winning and early stage accelerator with a purpose to increase diversity in entrepreneurship and technology by generating better access to support, capital and resources to owners from unexploited communities.
