Google To Provide Free Wi-Fi In 400 Train Stations Across India

Google’s CEO Sundar Pichai shared a new plan today on how the company is going to connect Indian residents with free internet using Wi-Fi to India’s train system, so Google wants to bring free internet access to over 10 million rail passengers a day.

Pichai said more than one billion people are lucking internet access in his home country, therefore the company will definitely help to get them free fast broadband internet so that they can be able to access the entire web and all other information and online opportunities.

India’s prime minister Narendra Modi visited some tech giant companies like facebook and Google’s US headquarters were he met with the company’s CEO, Pichal and discussed unique issues concerning free internet accessibility for Indian people, so they announced a new project to provide free high-speed public Wi-Fi in 400 train stations across India.

The company will first of all provide free Wi-Fi to the first 100 rail station by the end of 2016.
