My Gov’t Doesn’t Assassinate its Enemies-Museveni

President Yoweri Kaguta Museveni revealed that his NRM government doesn’t kill its opposition members whatever their differences.

M7 was speaking at the funeral ceremony of slain Abiriga and his brother that were laid to rest yesterday (11^th/06/2018).

President said: ““Why do you kill an elected leader of the people of Uganda, why doesn’t the NRM kill the MPs of opposition? If you start a war with NRM, you’ll lose, nobody will start a war with NRM and win.”

He further said that more often the opposition politicians have crossed the limit but never in my mind have I ever imagined of killing them.

Museveni’s statement above portray that his opposition killed his die hard supporter Col Ibrahim Abiriga.

He said that those who killed Abiriga are people with bad spirits of killing, adding that they not only enemies of the people, but also themselves. And those people who kill people because of politics are pigs.
