Kyambogo University To Import Cuban Lecturers

The government University Kyambogo is said to bring in 15 lecturers from Cuba to come and lecture at the university.

According to Museveni, Cubans are to come to take over the health sector however it doesn’t look like it.

Kyambogo university council has signed an agreement with the Cuban government that will see the importation of Science experts to lecture in the Engineering department at the University.

This was confirmed by the vice chancellor in charge of Finance, Professor Fabian Nabugwomu.

Nabugwomu said that the university’s decision to import Cuban lecturers is due to inadequate experts in engineering sector in the country.

The VC also confirmed that a deal has been reached between the two countries that will see the importation of Cuban lectures in the Engineering department.

He futher revealed that the expected Cuban lecturers at Kyambogo will be earning over Shs 7M monthly.
