9 Students Confirmed Dead After Fire Out Break In A School Dormitory

A secondary school in Mpigi district called St.Benard Secondary School Manya caught fire and nine students burnt to ashes and over thirty got severe injuries and rushed to the hospital.

According to sources near the school, the killers reportedly first closed all doors for the boys dormitory which was believed to be occupied by senior three students and begun pouring petrol to the innocent students who were asleep at that night-time.

Among the suspects include a few students who were suspended from doing their exams recently because of some crucial reasons, it’s recalled that these children vowed to do something bad and talked scary words towards the teachers, but their words were taken for granted according to the school administration.

Many parents and well-wishers blamed the police whom they said came in late after the children had died.

First lady, Janet Museveni however visited the school later in the later and conveyed her sincere condolences, she therefore promised that whoever did this will be arrested.
