Airtel Joins Hands With NTV To Air The Voice Africa

Airtel Uganda has announced that it will be joining hands with NTV Uganda to broadcast  The Voice Africa. Airtel Marketing Director Njoroge Henry Kamau and Africa Broadcasting Uganda Ltd’s (NTV Uganda/Spark TV) General Manager Johnson Omolo made the announcement.

This happened at the Airtel Uganda Headquarters on Clement Hill road.

Apparently, when the shows start airing, they will be broadcasted on Spark TV and NTV Uganda every Sunday at 8:00pm. Kamau at the event stressed the need to have a well-established partner if one is to go further.

“As Airtel, we believe that Nation Media has a very good platform. It will help us achieve the key goal of showcasing our talent,” he said.

Airtel recently also partnered with Fame Studios to bring The Voice Africa singing competition to the continent. They aimed at giving young people a chance to showcase their talent.

For one to join the competition, all they have to do is record a one-minute video singing. They Should then register, and upload the video to www.thevoice.africa.

The shortlisted people will also participate in live auditions that will be hosted in Uganda. From there, the seven strongest vocalists will be flown out to Nigeria to be part of the grand show.
