The Kyadondo East MP Robert Kyagulanyi Ssentamu known as Bobi Wine has shared a brief statement concerning his comrades who stand by the truth.
Radio presenter and veteran journalist Basajja Mivule was arrested on Monday morning following a recording of selected videos which he uploaded and posted on social media, which were causing hatred and unnecessary threat of attack on the government, according to Police.
However, Bobi Wine took to his social media claiming that the regime is scared to the marrow because people are speaking out boldly against social injustice.
The politician to his conclusion mentioned that good messengers can be killed but their message can’t perish in vain. Bobi further asked the Government to address issues being raised instead of putting them behind bars.
“You can kill the messenger but you can never kill the message. You can imprison the body, but you will never imprison the idea. Address the issues being raised instead of hounding people into jails, because that has not worked before and it will not work now. The regime is scared to the marrow because people are speaking out boldly against social injustices.” Bobi Wine wrote.
The ‘Kyarenga‘ Hit maker also called upon People Power members to get ready to pick up their National Unity Platform membership cards.
Are you ready to get your Membership Card? We are the National Unity Platform. We are People Power. We are Uganda. Details loading……,’Bobi Wine.
