Besigye Is Using This High Commodity Prices To Regain His Fame – Hon. Dan Kimosho

MP Kazo County, Dan Kimosho has said Rtd Gen, Kizza Besigye, is only using the situation of the high commodity prices to regain his fame.

According to him, Besigye has been looking for an opportunity to come back to the limelight and this is the perfect time he saw.

“Besigye is using this situation of commodity prices to reclaim his position. Using a bad situation to benefit himself in terms of political relevancy. Besigye is not about to rest until he gets back to his position. I think Besigye’s calculation is that he couldn’t handle President Museveni, but since there’s the ‘Muhoozi Project’, he feels he can manage if he contests.”

However, some people said Dan just doesn’t understand the condition people are in.

“@DanKimosho, please don’t distance yourself from reality. The truth is people are broke, prices of commodities are high. You may not know this because you probably don’t buy some of these things yourself but as part of the government, compel government to act for the people,” a one Emmanuel Otuko.

“I believe you the people in power have not given alternatives. Saying that we should tighten our belts is not enough. Remember as taxpayers, we pay you for solutions. You guys are still living large,” one Stephen Mayanja said.

Besigye has been in jail for now a week for striking over high commodity prices. He insists that the government has to do something about the prices.
