Bishop Luwalira Attacked During Easter Sunday Service

The Bishop of Namirembe  diocese Kityo Luwalira was attacked during the Easter Sunday services while preaching gospel to the congregation.

The attacker by the name of Kaddu Herbert, a resident of Rubaga division attempted to harm the bishop on podium.

Luckily enough, Herbert was arrested and stopped by police and currently he’s held at the police cusody.

Kaddu’s aim of attacking RT Reverend Wilberforce Kityo Luwalira is not yet known. However, some people have claimed that the man was probably insane to do such thing.

The medical examination was done on him to check his sanity if it’s proved that he’s mentally unstable he’s to be taken to Butabika mental hospital. But if he’s sane the police are to proceed with criminal charges against him.

According to reports, kaddu was having a traditional stick together with a back cloth while attacking the bishop.

Bishop Wilberforce Kityo Luwalira said that the man who on tried to attack him looked possessed and couldn’t be stopped.
