Busitema University Donates Hand Sanitizers To Fight COVID-19

Busitema University has also taken part towards the fight against the spread of coronavirus pandemic that emerged from Wuhan China. Uganda is still emphasizing on the measures put in place to fight the deadly virus. The battle is not yet over until it’s over.

Therefore, with all the commitment to pursue excellence and being a change factor in Eastern Ugandan, Busitema University has also joined the fight towards COVID-19 by innovating BU Hand Sanitizer which they think will be helpful to hospitals in the Eastern region as well as the community in general.

Their product is currently awaiting UNBS and NDA approval. Bravo BU! and very soon, they will start donating the stocked products to people around the country.

According to the University officials, BU Hand Sanitizers is a good product and smooth compared to other brands.

As of now, 122 Covid-19 cases are registered in Uganda after one new positive case confirmed from 2,296 samples of truck drivers that were tested yesterday. No death cases recorded.
