Catherine Kusasira Sells Car Given To Her By President Museveni

Singer Catherine Kusasira has finally sold the Toyota V8 car gifted to her by President Museveni two years ago.

This car had been spotted at a certain bond a few days ago but the singer had denied claims that it was up for sale.

While addressing the media, Kusasira admitted that she had finally sold it. She added that people should know that she wasn’t gifted the Kasubi tombs but rather a car and it’s her right to do whatever she wants with it.

Kusasira also said that she got tired of driving it and decided to sell it like she has always done.

The singer who doubles as a presidential advisor also cited security reasons as to why she sold it. She pointed out an incident in Iganga last year when NUP supporters ganged up on her.

“Yes I sold the car because it was mine. I didn’t need to call the public when I was going to sell it because they have no say. They should know I sold a car and not Kasubi tombs so no need for causing alarm. Besides everybody had become aware of the car and this was becoming a security threat. For instance, I was attacked in Iganga last year when Bobi Wine was arrested. The windshield was stoned down but thanks to the army I was with I didn’t get harmed,” Kusasira said.

She added that she always drives her cars for one year and then sells them off. This was the car she had driven the longest for two years and it’s time to be done away with had come.

The singer added that she will soon be shipping in a new monster ride.
