Dj Nimrod To Host Tagy TV Show

Kampala top Dj Nimrod has been hired by Tagy TV management to host Saturday super live entertainment show on it’s Kamwokya based station.

NIMROD starts work in September as Tagy Television goes on air raising stiff competition among television stations in Kampala.

TAGY TV is owned by Hajji Twaha who doubles as Pearl Fm proprietor.

Hajji Twaha bought off Record TV, one of the longest-serving TV stations from it’s Brazilian owners at the tune of shs10 billion.

Veteran radio presenter Herbie Kay has been hired as the station manager.

He is currently putting together a team that will commence work.

According to Herbie, Kay says fishing out top Kampala Dj Nimrod to host super Saturday live entertainment show with various celebrity mcs will boost the station as best commercial TV station in Kampala.

In separate news, UG records is officially back in business with fresh hits from young and talented acts. The music label which has been out of the entertainment industry for close to six years celebrated their relaunch party at lit lounge down in Bukoto on Thursday.

The label is owned by the famous Darius Mugisha and Henry Ssali who co-founded it way back in 2009 and while speaking to his guests at lit lounge, Mugisha said they are back stronger and better.
