Doctors Should Not Be Exempted From Paying The Fee For Using Entebbe Express Way – Kayima

Media Personality, Kayima Shafic has disagreed with the demand of doctors to use Entebbe Express way for free. Recently, doctors came out and said they should also be exempted from paying for Entebbe Express way road.

Their argument is that most of the times, they are running medical errands. So according to them, it wouldn’t be fair to pay for the road.

Entebbe Expressway is nolonger free since the beginning of this year. The only people exempted from paying are the President and Ambulance drivers.

However, as of now, everyone else is supposed to pay their toll fee for them to use it. Kayima says doctors are not that special for them to just use that road for free. He says if they want to use that road for free, then let them get in ambulances.

On top of this, he said Ministers and MPs should not come out and ask for the same. According to him, this category gets more than enough allowances which means they can afford the fee at Entebbe Express way.

Gen Katumba Wamala, minister of transport and works had said aside from the president and ambulances, no one else should expect to use Entebbe Express way road for free.

This started as rumor and probably people thought it wouldn’t come to fruition.

However, to the amazement of many, as soon as January kicked in, the rumor became a reality. Was it called for? Probably, and people are already paying for it.
