Dr Jose Chameleone Reveals Why He Didn’t Contest For UMA Presidency

Despite the UMA elections attracting attention and controversy, many thought one of the bigger 3 musicians, especially Jose Chameleone, would have contested for the spot.

However, all these stayed away from the position for different reasons. And now Dr. Jose Chameleone has revealed why he didn’t vie for the spot. The Vumilia singer said that he is always too busy and can’t handle the job. They, therefore, need to find artists who are busy but can handle the job well.

“I would have contested for the UMA President but honestly I’m very busy for that. We need to find artistes that are busy but can run the post as well,” Chameleone said.

The singer also addressed the current beef that is going on in the music industry. This is between his friends Bebe Cool and King Saha.

Chameleone said that he is aware of the beef. He even knew about King Saha’s song Zakayo attacking Bebe Cool before it got released

Chameleone also added that as long as the songs are not violent, the beef is okay. He also applauded Bebe Cool for handling the issue maturely.

“About the beef in the industry, the biggest challenge is that Bebe Cool is my senior friend. King Saha too is a friend but not a senior. Actually, before he released the song, I was aware. I just want us to understand that as long as the songs are not violent, it’s okay. I congratulate Bebe Cool because he handled it maturely,” added Chameleone.
