Entebbe International Airport Bans Recording Of Videos And Photos On The Premises

Entebbe International Airport has banned people from taking photos and videos on their premises with effect from this month February 2023. This happened after the recent events when various travelers started sharing videos and photos on social media of airport staff allegedly asking them for bribes.

For a long time, Ugandans have complained about Entebbe International Airport staff of being unprofessional. Most of them have missed flights just because of poor communication from the staff.

Recently, different Ugandans through social media decided to expose the airport staff’s unprofessional behavior.

When they kept talking, they were advised to get evidence from these people like photos or videos so that they can be held accountable. They provided more than enough evidence.

However, like any other airports, Entebbe Airport has been free for all travellers to take photos but now they have been prohibited.

Even those that would like to take photos or videos as evidence to ill mannered staff members can longer do that.

However, some celebraties like former media personality Fifi Da Queen has insisted that she will take photos and videos wherever she wants at any time.

She said she will wait to ask whether there is a law in Uganda that denies her taking photos or videos at the airport.

“I will surely use ma fone paka nga mundaze mu semateeka wegwanga akawayiro akagaana okozesa esimu yange. Tewali gwemugenda kubira mukisilise. Guno omulemebe mugezi nyo if u didn’t know. We must clean Uganda 🇺🇬 by force. Wama mukosese esimu zamwe u can even do a live nga yakasilise all u need to do is to caption it well tujitambuze,”
