Hundreds Receive Health Services At Uganda Baati Ltd’s Health Camp

Recently, Uganda Baati launched a Medical Clinical Camp in Tooro town. The Director of Health Service at Mbale Referral Hospital, Obbo Steven represented the Health Minister.

Through Mr Obbo, Dr. Jane Ruth Aceng, the Minister of Health, said Uganda’s healthcare system might not be the best in the world. However, she noted that it has had very steady progress over time.

Aceng stressed that they have worked as hard as possible to ensure that the Covid-19 pandemic is left in the rearview mirror.

She also revealed in her message that more successes have been achieved in other areas like the HIV/AIDS fight. Additionally, there’s also a big improvement in immunization services and fighting maternal mortality in the country.

The government has apparently availed a conducive environment that encourages private investment.

The minister is glad that as part of their corporate social responsibility, investors like Uganda Baati contribute much to the health needs of this country.

At the clinical camp, services offered include dental care, cancer screening, among other services. For the next two weeks, all these services will be free of charge.

John Okeya the Tororo district boss and Nixon Owole the Resident District Commissioner were present at the launch.

They assured Uganda Baati limited that there will be no more threats to distablize this country so long as Ugandans are willing to support it.

They also said they are willing to give more land to the company to expand given the development it is bringing in the area.
