I Won’t Forget Her – Singer Dr Bitone Eulogizes Wife

Musician Kawuki Denis, better known by his stage name as Dr Bitone, has revealed the cause of his wife, Resty Nambatya’s death. Dr Bitone’s wife passed away two days ago.

She was eventually laid to rest yesterday in Kasanda Kakungube Mityaana Road.

“Ekirango Kyokubikka. OMWAAMI KAWUKI DENIS aka DR. BITONE. abika MUKYAALA We Nambatya Resty Eyafudde leero kumakya. Wa kuziikibwa/ku bijja bya bajjajjaabe Ekasanda kakungube Mityaana Road. Enkya 9th /02/23 essaawa. kumi 4pm Abooluganda abako n’abeemikwano mutegeezeddwa awulidde ategeeze omulala.”– Bitone posted on his socials.

Speaking after the burial, the singer said that his wife succumbed to blood pressure. She got an attack leading to high blood pressure which couldn’t be controlled. Eventually and sadly she passed away despite all attempts to save her.

The Ompalabanya singer added that he won’t forget his wife especially since she gave him a child.

“She got an attack and her blood pressure escalated to an uncontrollable level. She eventually passed on but I won’t forget her especially since she gave me a child,” the visibly heartbroken singer said.

Friends, fans and some fellow musicians yesterday graced the funeral to comfort the singer.

The couple a while ago lost one of their children to a car accident. Since then, she’s said to have been suffering from depression.

May the deceased’s soul rest in eternal peace and the family be comforted in such trying times.
