Jennifer Musisi Finally Resigns From KCCA

The Executive Director of Kampala Capital City Authority ( KCCA ), Jennifer Musisi Ssemakula finally submitted in her resignation notice which will take effect 15th December 2018, this was after serving for seven and a half years.

Jennifer Musisi who was appointed as the KCCA boss in April 2011 on Monday sent a letter to president Yoweri Museveni pointing out why she intended to resign before completing her contract which was extended until April 2020.

After working for Uganda Revenue Authority for a number of years, the president decided to appoint her to setup Kampala Capital City Authority ( KCCA ) and after she became the Executive Director leaving Erias Lukwago as the Lord mayor without power and control over the KCCA’s finances.

She was tasked to transform Kampala city to the standard which the president wanted which included working on the pot-holes on the streets of Kampala, waste collection, to wipe out corruption scandals, property disputes, improving infrastructure etc.
