Jose Chameleone Claims It Was A Stunt To Clash With URA Officials

Veteran musician and Leone Island boss Joseph Mayanja known as Jose Chameleone few days ago had a serious argument with the URA officials after failing to produce genuine documents for his Toyota Land cruiser V8, that was later impounded and parked at URA headquarters in Nakawa.

But through reliable sources, the ‘Wale Wale’ Hit maker seems not to poses any documents that were asked by the URA officials though he claimed to have kept them at his home in Seguku.

Unfortunately when we met Chameleone and asked why he exchanged many words with the URA officials, he just explained that it was a stunt to get away. According to his words, he clearly mentioned that he was rushing to perform for Kabaka so the only way to divert URA officials was to create that stunt. He actually wanted to attract public attention.

“I had less than 10 minutes to perform for Kabaka but they were not letting me go, so I had to create a scene. That is what you saw. It was a stunt. I knew I would solve it after,” he said.
