Kasuku; “I Am Tired Of The Double Standards In Enforcing SOPs”

Radio presenter, Kasuku has expressed his frustration in the way the government is enforcing SOPs. According to him, there are so many double standards while enforcing the SOPs.

He said this regarding the incident that happened at Digida pork joint in Komamboga, Kawempe Division, Kampala. Apparently, people were in the bar because, in places occupied by the rich, bars are working.

Kasuku says people are so tired of being marginalized at the expense of a few. People have for a long time complained that bars in places like Muyenga, Kololo among others are working but the police do nothing.

Due to this, bars in suburban areas also decided to open though illegally but it was out of frustration. Unfortunately, Saturday was not a good day after the bomb blast.

Kasuku added that the only reason why he is following SOPs is that he is a TV personality. Otherwise, he confessed that he is beyond tired of anything to do with SOPs especially in the way they enforce them.

He said much as the president has good plans on paper, the implementation is so poor. He lamented saying it looks as though we are forcing life on the government.

Meanwhile, regarding, the bomb blast that happened on Saturday, a group of Muslims have claimed to have done it.

The Islamic State group (IS) in particular made this confession. Investigations are still underway to really know who was behind it and why.
