The musical icon and star, Eddrisa Musuza Kenzo, was anticipated to aim East Africa higher by pulling up crowds at the 90,000 capacity stadium in UK aimed at promoting African music, create awareness, stimulate demand, develop audiences and promote sustainability for African music globally.
However, the “Pull up” hit maker, Eddrisa Musuza couldn’t make it and decided to make a clear announcement of his official Facebook page. Because of the ill struggle he is passing through, he decided to quit going to Wembley stadium.
Eddy Kenzo in a critical condition!
Here is Eddy Kenzo’s apology through his management:
“It is with deepest regret that we must announce the unfortunate failure of Eddy Kenzo’s performance at that One Africa Music Fest.
This email therefore serves to inform you that due to Eddy Kenzo’s sudden illness, and by the doctor’s advise, he isn’t able to travel to London in time for the show.
We however remain committed to the One Africa Music Fest organisers and community – offering our assistance and support for the upcoming events in NewYork and Dubai. We therefore humbly request the Ugandan flag to still be raised despite our absence.
Again, we are deeply sorry about not being able to commit to our initial agreement and any unfulfilled expectations that this may cause due to force majue, Weh hope to see you in NewYork and Dubai.”
We hope he recovers very soon.
