Kizza Besigye Reveals He Almost Plaited His Hair In Switzerland

Former presidential candidate and veteran politician, Dr Col Kizza Besigye has revealed how he toyed with the idea of plaiting his hair while in Switzerland.

Besigye said that he was finally back in the country after seeking medical treatment from abroad. Kizza  Besigye further revealed that he started feeling unwell back in early February.

He decided to seek a better medical assessment. The doctors there advised him to have a therapeutic rest and he did this by staying with his family in Geneva.

The four-time presidential candidate proceeded to thank God for the gift of life. He also thanked his family and friends who looked after him really well.

While there, Besigye struggled with the idea of plaiting his hair. He however decided against this in order to stay the old version of himself. Therefore he’s now fit and ready to roll.

“Thankfully, I am back home at Kasangati. Having felt quite unwell during early Feb, I traveled abroad to seek a better assessment. The doctors, among others, advised that I take a therapeutic rest, which I dutifully did- staying with family in Geneva. Always grateful to the Lord, the giver & sustainer of life. Grateful to family & friends who cared for me. I toyed with the idea of plaiting my hair- to spice the debate that’s been raging in Ug, while I was away! Settled for remaining my good old self now fit & ready to roll,” narrated Besigye.

His faithfuls proceeded to welcome him back from this medical trip. He attached photos of himself and just as everyone ages, the fierce and vocal politician is surely getting caught up with age.

Some of his followers pointed out this. He told them that it was true but there is no resting when the country is still in captivity.
