How Lucy Attempted To Kill Her Former Boss

Lucy’s idea of teaching her unkind former boss a lesson worked just fine. Madam Nantongo had for a while thought Lucy was joking when she picked a panga not until she sliced off her wig. She made an alarm and in a single jump exited the house. She screamed her way to a police post where she reported that her ex-employee just tried to kill her.

Soon she returned with two armed police officers who immediately arrested Lucy and her mother, took them to the station for questioning and locked them up thereafter. Attempted murder it was and the evidence being the panga, it wasn’t an easy fit for either of them. They stayed behind bars for the night until the next day at 10am. Madam Nantongo came with her husband-Mr Kyagulanyi who was not told exactly who was behind bars, his wife had only said somebody tried to kill her and she was lucky to escape to the police who rescued her and arrested the perpetrators.

Upon being summoned before their accuser, Mr Kyagulanyi was shocked to see Lucy. She looked at him mischievously and knew exactly what she would do to get out of police custody. The officers were rude, they pushed the two suspects around so they could move faster.

“Mama Junior, are you sure about what you’re doing really, this is your friend here.” Mr Kyagulanyi asked his wife Nantongo.

“They tried to kill me.” She persisted.

The officer incharge soon started taking notes in the statement as Madam Nantongo narrated her story which was almost 90% untrue. When it was Lucy’s mother’s turn, the middle-aged woman couldn’t even talk as she started quaking and even went down on her knees to ask Madam Nantongo to forgive them.

“We did not mean to do that to you Mama Junior, please I beg you in the name of God, you’re a Christian like me. Please forgive us, I beg you.”

Nantongo’s mother was meek, just a little tease from an officer and she was quaking and sweating all over. Since she was crying and couldn’t talk, the incharge soon prompted Lucy to instead talk..

“Uhm officer, can you allow me talk about what made me try to do what I failed to do today?”
“This girl is a criminal and I can assure you, you’ll be in for a long time. Now talk, I’m listening.” The officer teased.

Lucy smiled at the teasing officer and then turned, took a long gaze at Mr Kyagulanyi and Madam Nantongo before saying,

“Madam, do you remember in that hospital sometime last year….” She was just starting to talk when Madam Nantongo interrupted.

“Ah, officer, I think we’re going to solve this issue peacefully outside. I don’t think these people even have the capacity to pay for any damages.” She claimed.

“But I have just recorded your statement and it was her turn.” The officer said.

“I know officer, I just don’t think it’s worth it, besides these are slum dwellers and nothing good can be expected of them.”

“Madam, is there something you’re not telling me?” The officer tried to insist.
“Oh no, I think I just feel I should forgive them, see how this lady begged.” She said pointing to Lucy’s mother.

After a short back and forth conversation with the in-charge, Lucy and her mother were set free without any pre-conditions. It wasn’t even a police bond-kind of discharge, it was as if they walked into the police station, spent a night there and now had to leave. Madam Nantongo had realized she would be in serious trouble if Lucy had talked about her experience as a maid in her house. Mr Kyagulanyi on the other hand was terrified too of whatever it would be that Lucy wanted to bring out. He had been hanging on tenter hooks all through as his wife dished out her 90% lies about what really transpired at Lucy’s house.
Immediately Lucy and her mother stepped out of jail, Madam Nantongo came and asked to talk to Lucy in private. She told Lucy’s mother to go home and that Lucy would join her later. To Lucy’s mother, Madam Nantongo appeared like a very good person and had forgiven them for the mistake they made.

“So, Lucy tell me, what exactly are you up to little girl.”

“First of all, you have to address me as a woman, not just ‘little girl’. Second, we have a serious problem going on, why didn’t you tell the police the truth, eh? And do you want to know who exactly made me pregnant back then, do you?”

“Listen, I am sure it was my brother but that must have been after you seduced him.”

“Just look at you, defending your criminal family. I was a very healthy 16 year old virgin when I came to your house, a year later and I had been turned into a sex slave, not just for one man but two full grown men. Do you also wish to know who the other is?”

“What are you talking about little girl?”

“Stop calling me little girl, I am not your daughter and I have seen and shared with you things that I am sure you wouldn’t want to even think about.” She fumed with rage.

Madam Nantongo had all along been just suspecting her husband of sleeping with Lucy but he would deny most of the time and there was no evidence to even start with. Her suspicions were eventually brought to rest when Lucy revealed her other rapist. She couldn’t believe it at first but as Lucy went on venting her frustrations, she had to come to terms with it that she was living with two monsters under the same roof and one of them brought a virus into the network.

She then went on sobbing, the husband she married 10 years ago had not only been cheating on her, he also infected her with the dreadful HIV virus.

Lucy on the other hand went home and never said anything else to her mother. Instead, she picked her phone and dialed Mr Kyagulanyi.

They started off as the man got fidgety since his wife was crying and blaming him for destroying her life.

“I know you might be going through a tough time but I think this is the time for you to face everything you’ve been doing.”

“Ehm, what do you mean eh?”

“Do you know why I have been sleeping with you all this while? It is because I discovered I had no choice, you or your in-law had infected me with HIV. And or, I have also been sleeping with him.”
“You what? You bitch!” He said.

“You think when you call me that, It scares me? Listen, you’re going to jail, I have kept that underwear I was wearing the night you raped me and I’m sure you don’t want to think of what I want to do with it tomorrow.”

“Wait, what?”

“Yes, I’m taking this to the police. Your DNA will be on it.”

“Listen Lucy, I already have enough problems at home right now, please don’t add onto that.” “Everything has a price though, you either agree to what I want or you go to jail together with your in-law and also your wife, I have something really bad on her and she knows it. Why do you think she never allowed me to talk to the police earlier?”

“How much do you want?”

“That’s more like it.” She said and kept quiet as if thinking of what she wanted and then suddenly said,

“10million, oh wait 30million.”
“Is this a joke?”
“Take it as you want, 30million it is.”

Mr Kyagulanyi was a rich man, he had lots of assets and businesses, 30 million was not as much big money to him. He had to pay Lucy in cash the following day, the money was packed in a laptop bag and delivered wholesomely as a package to Lucy’s house. She was not going to meet him ever again but still kept the evidence against him to use later incase anything happened.

Her next target was uncle Ssebulime and even if he was not a wealthy person, she wanted 5 million in cash from him or he goes to jail. The evidence she told him she had against him was the same panty she used against Mr Kyagulanyi.
