More Years Of Leading Us – Speaker Anita Among Wishes Museveni A Happy Birthday

The Speaker of Parliament, Hon Anita Among ‘s birthday wishes to president Museveni is one among many. However, hers is one that wishes the president eternity, or so to say.

It should be recalled that Museveni celebrates his birthday every 15th of September. He was born in 1944 making him 78 years today. That’s according to the official documents although some people dispute this.

Among referred to her boss as the father of the region just the same way the newly elected president of Kenya William Ruto referred to him at his swearing-in ceremony.

Among’s wish for the President is for God to grant him many more years so that he keeps steering the country in the steady progress direction.

“Happy Birthday to the Father of the region, the leader of our revolution, and our trusted President H. E. Gen. @KagutaMuseveni! May the Lord grant you many more years to steer our steady progress,” Anita Among wrote.

Wishes are still coming in for the birthday boy and we are pretty sure he will have such a blast.

“Sevo” as he’s mainly reffered to by the youths has been at the helm of Ugandan politics since 1986. This is after he and other forces toppled Tito Okello Lutwa’s regime in the mid 80’s.

He officially came to power in 1986 and has been ruling the East African country since then. Museveni will have ruled Uganda for 40 years by the end of this current term.

The 36 years have been of mixed reactions from the public. There are those who feel his government has achieved many things. Others believe that he’s massively failed while others think that its been between achievement and failure.

However for now, let the birthday boy enjoy his day in peace undeterred.
