Leave Fresh Kid Alone – Mps Tell Minister Nakiwala Kiyingi

The 7-year-old Ugandan rapper, Ssenyonjo Patrick commonly known as his stage names, Fresh Kid who is blowing people’s minds including the MPs and Ministers is becoming indecisive on matters regarding his talent and school.

MPs under the Uganda Parliamentary Forum on Youth Affairs have asked the Youth and Children minister, Nakiwala Kiyingi Florence to encourage the development of talent as disagreed to speaking against the young artiste Ssenyonjo Patrick aka Fresh Kid.

The law makers are asking to persuade government to support the development of talents among the youths who could in the end become self-employed through using their talents.

A couple of days ago, minister Nakiwala Kiyingi ordered the young rapper to stop performing and concentrate on his education because he has a long way to go, adding that it’ against the law to use such a young kid to generate income.

Many Ugandans have come out to blame the minister saying her decision won’t encourage the young artiste to uplift his talent. He is already taking on his studies as well as performing.

Others said the young rapper wants to take care of his parents whom he said are poor and cannot look after him or even to pay his own school fees, as we talk right now, he pays his own school fees and other needs
