Minister Namuganza Disowned By Family Over Attacking Kadaga

For the past few weeks, the state minister for land Persis Namuganza and Speaker Kadaga have had fights between themselves.

The fights began when the speaker and other officials went to Bukono County which is Namuganza’s Constituency and rallied against her.

Kadaga’s actions were not overwhelming on Namugaza’s side so she decided to attack her. He told the speaker to do more productive work for her people than rallying against her.

The minister also attacked the kyabazinga of Busoga telling him that he’s unfit to lead Busoga kingdom.

Namugaza’s actions were seen as unethical thus calling her to the the Busoga parliamentary caucus to have a truce however, she declined.

Speaking about Namuganza, she has been disowned by her own family informing her that she has no biological connection with the late Christopher Mutyaba Nkono.

Christopher Mutyaba Nkono is a former Royal Chief of Bukono Chiefdom and is believed to be the father of Namuganza

In a clan meeting held at Bukono Palace on Saturday, the family members also resolved to do a DNA test on Namuganza to ascertain their claim.

However, Persis has come out to defend herself claiming that she’s a member in her family and if it requires to go to DNA she will definently go there to prove it.

The clan members have also given two months to Persis to apologize to the current Royal chief Godfrey Mutyaba, the Speaker Rebecca Kadaga and the Kyabazinga of Busoga Wilberforce Gabula Nadiope IV .
