No One Can Lecture Me On How To Do Music – Beenie Gunter

Dancehall musician, Beenie Gunter, has said that no one can lecture him on how to do music. This is due to the fact that he’s a professional in the industry and even lives for music.

The By Now singer also revealed that he doesn’t believe in limiting musicians on how many songs to do. This is especially with albums which usually have 9-12 songs whereas an EP album usually has between 5-7 songs.

The GunTalk boss said that times have changed and the world is now more of a digital world that doesn’t rely on the basics from the past.

“There’s no one who can tell me how to do music because I am a professional in this industry and I live for music. I don’t believe in the idea of limiting musicians on how many songs they should release and when. We are in the digital world and things have changed,” the singer revealed.

However, social media users were quick to say that if he’s not open to learning from others, then he’s bound to fail. They pointed out his career which has stalled somewhere and somehow yet he’s immensely talented.

The singer who arose onto the scene around 2014 while under TNS with a banger titled My Way featuring Sheebah Karungi is yet to establish himself.

Maybe his adamant behavior to learn from others has cost him from moving a step further in his career.

They say even the best never stop learning and at times learn from those who are miles less successful than them.
