North Korea’s Vice President has reportedly been executed

Reports claim that North Korea executed its 63 year old Vice President Choe Yong-gon for opposing the forestation policy of the country’s leader, Kim Jong-Un, after missing for a long time, it was confirmed that the vice president was killed in May.

Choe Yong was a former delegate of the North-South cooperation group, his abrupt disappearance shocked the public aswell as South Korea’s Unification Ministry which reportedly said he has been missing from the public eye for the past eight months and he was last seen at the ceremony to mark the third anniversary of the death of North Korea’s former president Kim Jong –il in December 2014.

South Korea’s Yonhap news agency reported that North Korean government is watching closely to see what exactly happened to Choe but since he was against the president’s forestry policies that made him to lose interest in his job, he must have been shot dead.
