Nubian Li Urges Musicians To Fight For Their Freedom

Nubian Li, the Fire base Army crew member and duet singer to the Kyadondo East MP and musician Bobi Wine, called upon fellow artistes to fight for their rights in a saying that “Save Ugandan music”.

A few days back, the Government issued out strict rules and regulations that are supposed to be followed by artistes in Uganda. Singers like Nubian Li, Bobi Wine and others refused to comply with these rules and regulations.

“SaveUgandanMusic For a while our music camp(FireBase) has faced all sorts of injustices directly from the regime and many artistes just kept silent! Now in a bid to contain us, the regime is coming up with tough regulations which are not only gonna affect us but the entire Music Industry. I call upon all you fellow artistes to standup and fight for your own for injustice on one artiste is injustice to all of us! #WeAreStrongerTogether #tuliyambalaEngule” Nubian Li posted.
