Ofwono Opondo Threatens To Hand In His Resignation!

Veteran spokesperson of the ruling government, Mr Ofwono Opondo commonly known as “OO”, recently made a shocking statement when he slightly spoke of a possibility of him resigning while on a political show on a local radio station.

However, Ofwono Opondo told his listeners and fellow pundits not to get surprised in case he announced he’s resigning as well just as his fellow counterpart the Executive Director Jennifer Musisi clarified.

Ofwono Opondo marks to resign from the Government.

“I think am ready to be honest because I have served in this position for now close to 19 years dating way back in 1999, I think I should be quitting to create space for young people to also come in and serve but sometimes the thought of being misunderstood in the political game gives you no option but to be a hostage of our jobs” Ofwono said.

Opondo is with no doubt one of the strongest units in president Museveni’s government. He’s known for being loyal and defends the party at any cost regardless of whether they are in the wrong or right.

So coming out with such statements at such a crucial time where the opposition has just been strengthened by the coming in of Bobi Wine and creation of people power movement left many NRM supporters dumbfounded.

Well Opondo made these remarks while discussing the resignation of Jennifer Musisi along with other pundits and they all agreed to disagree about her recent act.
