Okoth Ochola The Man That Replaced Kayihura

The sacked inspector General of police Kale kayihura was replaced by Okoth Ochola who has been the deputy IGP.

Pesident Museveni sacke the IGP Kayihura alongside security minister tumukunde.

Okoth came into the lime light when he replaced Julius odwe who was then the dupty IGP.

On his first day in office, okoth reshuffled top police officers, directors and officers in Kampala metropolitan.Okoth’s reshuffles bought the late AIGP Kaweesi into  the lime light.

Kaweesi was removed from being a  commandant for Masindi Police training school in Kabalye and replaced by then the director for Kampala Metropolitan Police Grace Turyagumanawe.

The new inspector of Police Okoth Ochola is demotically known for being against corruption and always wants discipline.

“If you resort to selfish private illegal accumulation of wealth which has caused problems to many Civil Servants today…. If you believe in selfish private accumulation of wealth, then Police is not the right place for you. Stand warned on this (corruption),” Ochola remarked.
