Patrick Salvado Clears Air About Replacing Sanyu FM’s Fatboy

A famous comedian Patrick Salvador is rumored to have replaced James Onen commonly known as Fatboy in the morning breakfast show. Many people are still wondering what made the comedian to take over.

Therefore, Patrick Salvado defended himself on why he replaced Fatboy.

This is after the Station management announcing it’s new revised salary remuneration due to covid-19 crisis forcing the James Onen who has been at the Station for the last 21 years to lay down his tools.

“I’m not replacing anyone, I’m not trying to fill or fit in the shoes of anyone….. I have my own shoes, I’m just SITTING IN (Radio terminology).. Until the right team is identified….. My duty as a Ruparelia Group Ambassador is to help when called upon and I’m free….. Hope this Puts some of your minds at rest. So if you think you are good, and have faith in yourself about being a good presenter or have experience in Radio Production …. the Opportunity has presented itself .” He said.

The statements tried to figure out the fact that Salvado is just helping the station but not staying permanently.
