Am Starving, I Also Need Posho And Beans From Government – Pia Pounds Cries Out

Over one month ago when COVID-19 erupted in the country, the government announced the closure of schools and all gathering places like concerts, bars etc. It was a big blow to almost everyone especially Musicians including Red Banton, Ykee Benda, Eddy Kenzo, Pia Pounds etc who have now proved to be suffering more than others.

The President’s directive to observe social distancing and to place the country on lockdown were some of the measures to prevent the spread of the deadly virus, this idea was supported by people like Bebe Cool who appealed to the government to put a six months lockdown and Pia Pounds who is now starving.

Musicians and deejays who depended on entertaining fans and revelers have been big spenders forgetting that there’s time for everything, it becomes harder especially when you don’t save and it is believed many of them have run broke and now appealing to the government for posho and beans.

The government has been supplying food and other essentials items to the vulnerable poor who can no longer afford a meal forgetting that even some musicians are broke.

Therefore, the big talent musician Pia Pounds came out and asked the government to supply posho and beans at her premises because she’s really dying.

“I also need Government posho. Who wouldn’t want it? We are starving,” Pia said during an interview.

Over this week, the Army General donated 350 Kgs of posho to Uganda Musicians Association.
