President Museveni To End The Year 2022 With A National Address

The year 2022, has finally come to an end as today is the last day of the year 2022. Due to this fact, many different people are preparing to see off 2022 in different ways.

Some of people will be at church events while others will be out in bars. However, the President of the Republic of Uganda, H.E Yoweri Museveni is preparing to give an end-of-year 2022 speech today.

The Senior Presidential Press Secretary to the President Sandor Walusimbi issued a statement on the matter. In this, he revealed the time of the address to start at 8pm.

In addition to that, the statement revealed that the president will address the nation from his home in Rwakitura. Walusimbi also said the address will be aired on all Television channels and radio stations.

Unlike the previous addresses, the main areas to be covered by the president were not hinted at. However, one of the main issues many hope no one will talk about is Ebola.

Many believe the Ebola outbreak is still raging across the country. This is mainly because the World Health Organization has not come out to declare it gone yet.

The president last addressed the nation over Ebola in October hence the reason to believe he will do the same today. The last Ebola patient got discharged from hospital at the start of this month.

This gave health officials hope that they had won this battle but they don’t know for sure. Up until this point, no new Ebola case has been reported which is a good sign.
