Yvan Buravan, a Rwandan singer aged 27, has been pronounced dead in India where he flew to get treatment for pancreatic cancer. At the start of this month, Yvan’s management announced that the late had flown to India to receive treatment.
A statement from his management earlier thanked his worried fans and the Rwandan government for all the support accorded. It further asked them to keep the singer in prayers as he underwent his treatment.
Sadly, East Africa woke up to the unfortunate news of the “Bigtime” singer’s demise. Sadly, doctors pronounced him dead on Wednesday morning.
A statement through his social media by his management confirmed the untimely passing of Yvan in India where he was receiving treatment for pancreatic cancer.
“It is with unimaginable sadness that we announce to you the untimely passing of our beloved Yvan Buravan, which occurred tonight in India, where he was undergoing treatment for pancreatic cancer,” the statement partly reads.
The management also asked his fans and followers to remain united through this tragic moment.
“His loss will be immensely felt by his family and friends and throughout our industry. We are certain that our community will remain united, as we go through this unspeakable tragedy. May he rest In Peace,” the statement further reads.
Yvan Buravan’s friends, fans, followers, and fellow celebrities have explained what a wonderful person he has been with an adorable character and immense talent.
