Most  people judge others right away at first sight! This is a primitive perception most people have in society here in Uganda and in many other countries.

This judgmental look creates an insecure feeling and only limits the sense perception of the same person judging.

This is a common habit of injustice often practiced in our society.

A person may look religious, gentle in the way of clothing, trendy, and many other physical appearances but that does not necessarily dictate who they really  are until you share a deep  conversation.

I will see a common example in our society in Uganda, i made a lifestyle research  and came to conclude  that  most Rasta families  either have only the papa deadlocked or both the Moma and Papa deadlocked but their children bold head, very rarely to find a Rasta family deadlocked right from parents to their children.

A Rasta  family that is fully deadlocked is more into Natural livity, so they would love to trod their spiritual path that way. The challenge comes when this deadlocked child is ready to start school, she or he will never be admitted into government schools, then the Rasta parent tries option B which is private schools, the same drama of not admitting the deadlocked child is played still.

The possible hope for this deadlocked child to access education would be in an International school of which most deadlocked Rasta families don’t have the capacity to afford international schools.

When asked the reasons why both government and private schools don’t admit  these children falling in the category of being judged say deadlocked Rasta children, muslim girls wearing religious head veils, muslim boys wearing religious head hats, and many other categories i have not mentioned, the  response is always a vague answer saying that the education ministry does not allow children who are not dressed in the orthodox school style.

Discrimination doesn’t stop at the children only, but also it extends to the adults in society to acquire jobs and social services .

Fortunately, there are some traditional muslim schools that groom their children in their liking.

I request the education ministry in Uganda to enlighten school owners about this judgmental practice which denies children’s right to education, causing segregation and injustice amongst children.
