Rapper Kanye West To Run For US Presidency

American rapper, singer, songwriter, composer, record producer and entrepreneur Kanye West who’s also a vocal supporter of President Donald Trump tweeted on Saturday that he would run for US presidency 2020 to challenge Trump and former Vice president Joe Biden.

“We must now realize the promise of America by trusting God, unifying our vision and building our future. I am running for president of the United States,” West wrote in a Twitter post, adding an American flag emoji and the hashtag “#2020VISION”.

It is not yet confirmed whether Kanye West was serious about competing for the US presidency 4 months before 3^rd November polls or if he had finished filing the documentations that allow him to appear on the election ballots.

However, several States have not yet announced a deadline to add independent candidates to the ballot.

The rapper and his wife Kim Kardashian West have visited President Donald Trump in the White House.
