Robert Kabushenga, the chief Executive Officer of Vision Group has shocked many people with his decision to retire from Vision group. According to him, he served his best and now he wants to concentrate on his farm work. Kabushenga expressed his gratitude for the opportunity to head such a prominent media house.

“I am proud of the success we achieved and the impact we have had in society. This was possible because we worked together as a team. For me, it was an absolute honor and pleasure to have done so,” he explained.

Many media personalities on hearing this, wrote their appreciations to him for all the wonderful work he has done. They also thanked him for making journalism an admirable profession.

“You have done a tremendous job. And the farm is lucky to have your full undivided attention.” Munjuni Raymond wrote.

“You have done a great job soldier, you performed all your duties with dedication and distinction. Now you are retiring with an impeccable and excellent record. We praise the spirits of our ancestors who made this possible. May they guide you just as well at Rugyeyo and elsewhere.” Andrew Mwenda also wrote.

Some people also went ahead and commended him for showing a great example to those coming after him that retiring early is not a crime.

“Ugandans the term (RETIREMENT) should be part of your VOCABULARIES. Creating space for other players and guiding the next generation. This business of changing DIAPERS in offices…” twitter fan wrote.
