Schools To Reopen In Two Weeks, Churches May Have To Wait A Little Longer

Following the presidential directives, schools and churches have one month to go before they reopen. However, reports also indicate that the government plans to reopen them in two weeks.

Looking at the conditions that the president put for schools and Churches to reopen, we are not half way through the journey. Much as vaccination is ongoing, most of the population has actually not yet been vaccinated.

With this at hand, authorities anticipate the third wave and the numbers are already increasing in hospitals. This simply means in two weeks or three, there is going to be a health emergency.

Currently though, teachers have been put at the fore front of getting vaccinated. How about the students, this means everyone is still at risk because even those that are vaccinated still get the disease.

However, looking at the church, it may just be much easier because the meetings are once a week. The president’s problem though with the church was that some men of God were apparently downplaying Covid.

According to him, this is very intolerable because then people will be reckless and the virus may just spread at a very terrific speed.

Meanwhile, some parents have decided to take their children back next year. This is due to the frustration they have been through throughout the season.

Their fear is that schools may be closed again just after being reopened again and yet they will have paid fees. In any case, this whole matter is in the hands of the government
