SFC Commander Reminds Soldiers Of Their Duties

Brig David Mugisha, the commander of the Special Forces Command (SFC) reminded soldiers the purpose of their training. He urged them to put their military training into action so as to better protect Ugandans.

“Give maximum respect to Ugandans because they are our bosses. Do not oppress them, bark or maim them. When you are faced by terrorists you should answer fire with fire. Put your training into practice and protect Ugandans,” Brig Mugisha said.

He made these remarks in Nakaseke at Samora Machel Special Forces School in Kaweweta. This happened during a ceremony to release SFC soldiers.

He further revealed how a soldier with no training is like a fish that has no water. He also congratulated the officers upon completing their training course.

The SFC commander reminded the soldiers to always be alert and maintain their discipline in all situations. He additionally urged them to avoid bad company and stay away from drugs and alcoholism.

He also warned them against living reckless lives that would expose them to infections such as HIV/ AIDS.

Col Asinguza, the Director of Training presented the outstanding students with awards. The training covered a wide range of topics that included counter-terrorism, skills at arms, and martial arts.
