Social Media Outraged After Girls Gang Up And Beat Their Friend Over A Man

Ugandan Twitter users are currently up in flames after several videos surfaced online of a group of girls beating up a friend of theirs over a man. These girls ganged up on this girl known as Pretty Nicole and gave her a beating she won’t ever forget.

In the leaked videos, these girls can be seen confronting Nicole about the rumors she’s been sleeping with one of the girl’s boyfriend. It’s said that Nicole is a friend of these girls. She’s however allegedly been feeding poisonous info to the boyfriend of one of the girls. This boyfriend would go ahead to share the rumors with his girlfriend.

They tricked Nicole to come to this boyfriend’s place where she was ambushed. She was asked to start the genesis of all the rumors she’s been circulating. And when she failed, they assaulted her. These even undressed her as she can be seen topless in one of the videos while getting flogged.

This has sent social media into a fury. Kampala Deputy lord mayor Doreen Nyanjura wondered why these women didn’t beat up the ‘unfaithful’ man instead.

“Why didn’t these stupid women beat the man that vibed the gal? No one deserves violence b’se of a man/woman. You made fun of the guy that knelt, now here we are. Anyone who knows how I can find the victim of this violence, p’se reach out to me. This barbarism must be stopped.”

TV presenter Sheilah Gashumba also wondered how one can beat up a fellow woman.

“Beating up a girl because of a man who will cheat on you regardless is just being dumb. 3 seconds into the video and I couldn’t even continue watching. Two bullies with low self-esteem and low confidence. A man who wants to be yours will always be yours!! Stop that madness”

Comedian Salvado also said that watching the video made him sick. He expressed his anger, especially at the man in the video who was cheering on.

“This video of these women beating the girl has made me sick… I’m just mad … but the man in the video .. the man, May our paths never cross.”

Ugandans called onto police to look into this case. This got the deputy police spokesperson of Kampala Metropolitan, Luke Owoyesigire, to provide an update. He also said these perpetrators have been identified and are pending arrest.

“Kawempe Police Division is in touch with the victim and suspects have been identified pending arrest. The incident however took place in one of the rentals in Kira Municipality. We shall inform you of the progress on file. Police condemn all acts of torture.”
