Task Force Has Been Formed To Reunite Migrant Children With Families

The United States Department of health and human services on Friday accepted to lay a strategy which will help reunite families that were separated at the border, according to Politico.

Politico reports that the Department of Health and Human services ( HHS ) formed a task force and named it ‘’Unaccompanied Children Reunification Task Form ( UCRTF ) which responds to public Health Disasters. The initiative was specifically formed to reunite migrant children with their families.

The instructions for the task force says,’’The secretary of Health and Human services has conducted the Assistant Secretary of Preparedness and Response help the ACF office of Refugee Resettlement with Unaccompanied Children Reunification.

Evelyn Stauffer, the spokesperson of HHS told Politico that secretary Azar Alex is bringing to effect all the applicable resources of the department so as to help in the placement or reunification of these single-handed children and teenagers with parents or suitable sponsors.

However, Refugee Resettlement office is continuing to lead and supervise the Unaccompanied Alien Children Program.
