Thieves Break Into Church, Steal Pastor’s Underwear, Eats His Food And Make Off With Other Valuables

In a very strange act of thievery, the faithful of the Makutano PAG church in Kakamega county, have been left to account for losses after thieves broke into their church, making away with properties whose value is yet to be established. Among the things the thieves made off with, was the pastor’s underwear.

The congregants noted the incident on Sunday, when they were preparing for the day’s service.

After ‘sweeping’ the church, the gang proceeded to the home of the church’s resident preacher, where they also left with other valuables.

We were informed that there had been an incident at the church. When we got there, we confirmed that indeed, thieves had broken down the doors at the church and the preacher’s residence,” said one of the church’s faithful.

An intimate source said the thugs stole everything in the vicinity. These include the preacher’s clothing and underwear. They then proceeded to the kitchen, where they ate the available food.

The congregants expressed fury, wondering what the thugs will do with the preacher’s underwears.

Why on earth would you steal someone else’s clothes, including undergarments?

The believers also expressed their fears saying insecurity and thuggery has been on the rise in the locality. They are appealing to the area administration to pursue and bring to book the thugs.

This is not the first time, the youth should look for other avenues to make money and not involve themselves in crime,” they said.
