Thousands Of Ugandans In UAE To Lose Jobs Because Of Bobi Wine – Andrew Burora

The deputy RCC of Rubaga division Burora Andrew has claimed that thousands of Ugandans in the United Arab Emirates might lose their jobs. Burora further alleged that this is from a reliable source.

According to Burora, Ugandans set to be affected by this might number over 120,000. The majority of these won’t see their contracts renewed according to Burora.

Andrew Burora then went ahead to blame Bobi Wine for all this alleged mess. This is because the NUP leader misrepresented the image of the UAE on social media by politicizing it.

He then implored the government of Uganda to do something in order to repair the image between the two countries.

“Reliable sources claim that more than 120k Ugandans in the UAE might lose their jobs. And risk not renewing their contracts following Kyagulanyi’s Misrepresentation of the UAE Image on social media. @GovUganda
should do something to repair the image between the two countries,” said Burora.

This is not the first time such a claim is coming up. It should be recalled that Bobi Wine saw his charity concert in Dubai halted by authorities.

He then proceeded to different detention centres in the UAE and took videos and photos of the Africans there. Since then, the repatriation of Ugandans by both government and NUP has been ongoing.

After all this circus, the UAE halted the provision of Visas to a number of African countries including Uganda.
