TikToker Sammi Manini Explains How He Got Inspiration To Join The App

There is no absolute doubt that the TikTok App has created a new set of celebrities and brands. In Uganda, Sammi Manini is one of the most trending TikTokers and he explained how he got the inspiration to join the app.

Sammi said that he had no knowledge of the app till he invited his sister for the Christmas festival. While at his place, Sammi’s sister bumped into videos in his phone which she told him were good content for the app.

He was afraid at first that it might ruin his career and family affairs. She however assured him that this would only propel his career further and they opened up an account.

That’s how his success story began and he’s now one of the top influencers in the country.

“I’m actually a married man and I even had no idea about TikTok till I invited my sister to live with us for the Christmas season. She then saw my videos in my phone and told me it would be good content for the app. I asked her if it wouldn’t affect my career and life but she assured me that it wouldn’t and would in fact make me more successful and we opened up one. We uploaded the first , second and the third video, it was my wife who called me. She told me that my in-law had seen my video and I was trending. They decided to push me because my content is clean,” Sammi narrated.

Sammi also took time to explain how he came up with his “The Rions” video which propelled him to overnight fame.

He said that he’s a professional tour guide and one day they wanted to visit Queen Elizabeth National Park to see lions.

However, their driver insisted that there are lions in Lake Mburo National Park since its where they were. In reality, there were just zebras behind them.

Sammi Manini decided to do the video in a joking manner by referring to the zebras as the ‘Rions‘. This video went viral and even got uploaded by American singer Doja Cat on her Twitter page.

Sammi Manini also proceeded to give advice to aspiring content creators on the app. He advised them to use clean language which can even be accessed by minors.
