Uganda Christian Lawyers Association To Address Decaying Morals This Covid Season

In a bid to address decaying morals among youth in society, Uganda Christian lawyers fraternity  together with Uganda Youth Forum and Uganda Muslim Lawyers Association have organised  a national youth  leadership conference on ethics and integrity this Thursday at State House Entebbe.

John Osapiri Chief Executive Officer of Uganda Christian Lawyers Fraternity briefing the media said the conference will run under  the theme : values and skills for the 21st century youth due to current covid 19 situation.

“The conference will bring together distinguished speakers to mentor and equip youth, focusing on imparting ethical values and integrity to raise godly youth,”Osapiri said.

James Kakooza  chairman Uganda Muslim  Lawyers Association said,” As a network of inter faith non governmental organisations, we can upon youth from every part of the country to attend this convention online or tune on thorough the different platforms on that day for alive stream. We are sure all youth will be mentored and inspired to pursue our dreams and life aspirations through this event together we build the nation we desire, ”

According to him senior citizens including mama Janet museveni, Canon Dr John senyonyi, pastor Martin Sempa among others will address the youth.

The Uganda Christian Lawyers Fraternity (UCLF) is a Non-Government Organization seeking justice for all in society through the provision of legal aid, legal education, research and policy advocacy.

Osapiri pledged to provide free legal aid to youth during this covid season.

“We are an association of Christian Legal Professionals sharing our faith in Christ, promoting access to justice and respect for human dignity through speaking up, fellowship, mentorship and defending the rights of the vulnerable,”
