As the tour of the Mulago Hospital Children’s Cancer Ward went on, they showed the teams children who have walked the journey towards full recovery from cancer.

They received some of the children in wheelchairs or in a state of unconsciousness. However, they rejoiced and jubilated upon receiving certificates of bravery to fully walk the journey of taking cancer medicine till recovery.

“I appreciate all that is done by health personnel to treat children suffering from cancer to full recovery. This also motivates the children and their parents to have faith and confidence that cancer is curable,” Dr. John Sekabira, Mulago Hospital deputy head said.
